Themes For A Birthday Party

Awesome themes that will make your mind muy loco! (very crazy).

1. Divergent Theme: The party can start with you and your guests, taking the aptitude test online. Then, depending on what faction they are, they get clothes (or you can have them take the test before the party so they have their own clothes.) according to their faction just like in the movie. Now have them do these activities according to their faction: Amity, takes plain flower pots and decorates them with markers and plants flowers in them, Candor: Can have a mock trial somewhere like a dining room or the living room, Erudite: Can do a project with a science kit or they can have a spelling bee, Abnegation: Can knit something or make food in the kitchen, and finally Dauntless: Have your guests who are dauntless, work out or play with water guns in a fake game of capture the flag like in the movie. When the party is over, every guest can get a fake tattoo with their parents permission or they can sleep over: your choice.

2. Monster High Theme: Decorate you house to look just like the monster high school and ask them to dress like their favorite MH character. Trust me their going to have a blast! So first, make a different schedule for everyone and be sure to make fake classrooms in you house. When you have done the schedules and classrooms, send the students to their 'classes'. And when the classes are up, hook your phone up to a speaker and play the sound of a school bell, or the MH theme song. At the end of the classes, sit everyone down in the 'creepteria' AKA any food room in your house. Play some music, let the kids dance, and come up with adorable masks that everyone can wear. Enjoy!

3. Murder Mystery Theme: Have your guests dress like they were in the 1920's. Decorate your house, as a creepy house where a murderer is. The guests can spend the night to make it more realistic, or you can finish the whole game in one day. Give each guest a piece of paper, that says who their character is but don't reveal the murderer. Now you can set up your house like an old victorian town and let your guests walk the 'streets', or you can set up your house like I wrote above: just like an old creepy house. If it is too complicated to have your guests play characters, then you should do this. Part II: Like I said, if Part I was too complicated, here is a much easier but messier one- set up fake crime scenes and have you or another adult play the murder. You can use fake blood, fake hair strands, anything that makes the 'crime scene' look like a real crime scene. Use your imagination.

4. Drive In: This theme I saw on Facebook, so full credit to the person who posted it. Take cardboard boxes and let your guests design them like their dream cars. Then, let them sit in the 'cars' and turn on a movie for them to watch. Be sure to serve plenty of snacks and enjoy the movie! If you want to make the 'cars' more comfortable then ask your guests to bring their own blankets and pillows.

Okay guys, those were my four ideas for parties. Choose one and enjoy one.
